Black Tiger Sex Machine have been dominating Montreal’s nightlife scene and marking their territory with their funky beats and rocking parties for the past two years. The last year has been an eventful one for BTSM who have since been on the prowl for fresh meat with their appropriately-named record label Kannibalen Records, a name inspired by BTSM’s monthly sold-out Kannibalen events at Belmont nightclub.

Recognizing the lack of support for local artists in the jungle that is Montreal, BTSM have pounced on the opportunity to create a bridge between artists and business through this newly-established record label.

Aiming to give local artists opportunities to gain international visibility and exposure, Kannibalen Records is hungry for local talent to join their tribe and eat Montreal alive by night!

About the Kannibalen Show

Just over a year ago, DJ/Production outfit Black Tiger Sex Machine appeared on Montreal’s nightlife scene and captured the attention of massive crowds and loyal fans with the introduction of a unique monthly event called Kannibalen. Originally conceived as a cannibal-themed party, Kannibalen has rapidly become the must-attend event in Montreal by calling on tribe members to vote for monthly costume concepts and take part in creating a universe like no other. Every month, Montreal’s Belmont nightclub transforms into a flesh-eating tribal party as masses of hungry cannibals line up to devour earth-shaking beats from BTSM, Dooze Jackers and Elo!i & Heights.
